3 days Uganda gorilla safari is top notch Uganda Gorilla Trekking safari which offers the most Gorilla Trekking safari in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park situated in south Western Uganda. The Park is ancient Rain forest which is one of the few in Africa to have flourished and its home to half of the world’s endangered Mountain Gorillas population.

Gorilla Trekking Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Early morning at 7.00am, your driver /guide will pick you up and transfer you from your choice of hotel/guest house or point of pick agreed upon to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It is a long but scenic drive through some of Uganda’s beautiful and varied landscapes. View along the way typical long horned Ankole cattle, homesteads, Cultivated farms and local roadside markets. Lunch in Mbarara at the Igongo cultural Centre. Continue onwards to arrive in Buhoma or Kisoro for Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking experience in Bwindi Forest
Following early breakfast 6:30am, you will transfer to the head trail for the gorilla group you will be allocated for your tracking today and there you will have your morning briefing by the park rangers before entering the gorilla sanctuary. You will walk through the dense rain forest crisscrossed by numerous animal trails. The thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is one of the most memorable experiences on this safari.

Tracking may be fairly strenuous with treks up to six hours or longer, at high altitudes. Also, mountain gorillas are wild animals and, as such, sightings cannot be guaranteed. However, viewing success rates are over 90%.
Day 3: Reserved for Departure from Entebbe International airport
Transfer back to Entebbe, with stopover at the equator for photography and souvenir shopping.

If staying in Entebbe, You can request assistance at the time of your booking. If departing Entebbe same night, please note your vehicle returns to Entebbe late afternoon (approximately 4:00 pm) so DO NOT book flights departing prior to 8:00 pm in order to allow time for security, check in and any delays.

Most nationalities require a visa to enter Uganda which can be obtained on arrival for USD50 per person, single entry. Passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months.
