3 days Murchison Falls National Park

3 days Murchison falls national park is a wildlife safari adventure which takes you to Murchison Falls National park and explore the beauty of the Africa Big 5. The Safari Itinerary offers tracking down through the foot steps of the Africa big 5 game (Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, Leopards and African Cape Bufalos), hiking top of the falls, boat cruise along the nile delta, bird watching and the best view of the Murchison water fall. The park is situated at the northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley. Here you will enjoy not only the spectacular game drives and boat trips but this park offers bird watching, hiking and nature walks experiences. On your way back to Entebbe you may have the opportunity for Rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary.

Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National park

Following breakfast your driver/guide will transfer from your Hotel or pick up point agreed upon and transfer to Murchison Falls NP. Via Masindi. Lunch in Masindi. Continue on wards to arrive in the park with the first stop over at “Top of the falls” for spectacular view of the Nile as it squeezes through an 8m wide gorge and plunghes with a thunderous roar into the “Devils cauldron” creating a trade mark rainbow. Continue on wards to arrive for dinner and overnight at your Lodge. Accommodation: Murchison River Lodge (FB)

Day 2: Morning Wildlife drive and afternoon Launch cruise on the Nile

Embark on a morning wildlife drive at 6:30am. Drive to delta areas, northern bank for a thrilling Wildlife Drive Experience. Expect to see some of the exotic wildlife in this park including Elephant, Buffalo, Lion and if lucky the shy Leopard and other wildlife found in this park. Enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Albert. Later, return for breakfast and relax at the Lodge. In the afternoon, take a Boat Cruise to the bottom of the mighty falls; you will view more exotic wildlife, as well as a variety of bird species as they come to cool off at the water hole. Day 3: Reserved for departure from Entebbe International Airport

After breakfast, return to Entebbe with stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a 2hr tracking followed by lunch and continue back to Kampala or Entebbe late afternoon.

Overnight optional

If staying in Entebbe, please request assistance at time of booking safari. If departing Entebbe same night, please note your vehicle returns to Entebbe late afternoon (approximately 4:00 pm) so DO NOT book flights departing prior to 08:00 pm in order to allow time for security and check in

Health

Yellow fever & malaria prophylactics are required.

Visas

Most nationalities require a visa to enter Uganda which can be obtained on arrival for USD50 per person, single entry. Passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months.
