This 14 Days Uganda Wildlife safari takes you through some of Uganda’s national parks for example Uganda’s biggest national park (Murchison falls national park) for wildlife spotting and a memorable boat ride on the Victoria Nile, Kibale national park for chimpanzee tracking, Queen Elizabeth national park to spot the tree climbing lions and have a great Kazinga channel boat ride, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest park for gorilla tracking, visiting Lake Mburo national park and rhino tracking at ziwa rhino sanctuary.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Entebbe
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your guide will meet greet and transfer you to your hotel for the night Airport Link Guest House Entebbe (BB) You will also receive a full briefing about your safari and will agree on pick up time the next day.
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls national Park and Rhino tracking
Early morning pick and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. We will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for tracking the Rhinos and following this activity we will have lunch and later continue to the park through Masindi town. Stop over at the top of the falls for spectacular view of the waterfalls and photography. The day will close with a cool drink and a fabulous view over the river Nile, and the evening coming with all the noise of an African night.

Day 3: Game viewing and Launch cruise on the Nile
We will be spending the day on safari drive and game viewing around the park and along the Nile. We will cross the Nile with the ferry at 7.00am) if staying at Red chilli and go on a game drive from 8.00am to 12.00noon, seeing several animals including lions and giraffes. In the afternoon (2.00pm to 5.00 pm) we will go on the impressive launch trip on the Nile, up to the Falls, giving you a chance to see hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants and many different birds! Day 4: Trip to the Delta Area for birding and sightseeing
Early in the morning the boat will take you downstream to the delta area, where the Nile enters Lake Albert. This Delta trip offers excellent opportunity to see the elusive Shoe bill Stork! The driver will pick you from the delta point for a short game drive. Return for lunch and the rest of the afternoon at leisure and enjoy your hotel facilities and service. (FB)
Day 5: Transfer to KIbale Forest National Park
Following early breakfast, we will transfer to Kibale Forest NP. We will drive past but close to Lake Albert: on a clear day the view from the top of the Albert rift is spectacular.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Walk
At 8.00am we will start with the 4-hour chimp walk – during which you may also get to see many other primates! Kibale Forest NP is also known for all the butterflies and birds. Following lunch, we will go for another enriching walk to the Bigodi swamp which is habitat for variety of bird species and some primates. Kibale Forest Nation Park contains some of the loveliest and most varied tracks in tropical Forests in Uganda. The park is home to a total of 70 mammal species, most famously 13 species of primates including the Chimpanzees
It also contains over 375 bird species. The park lies close to the tranquil Ndali-Kasenda crater area and within half a day’s drive of the Queen Elizabeth, Rwenzori Mountains and Semuliki National Parks, as well as the Toro-Semliki Wildlife reserve. Dinner and overnight as above (FB)
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early morning transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP. We will travel through Fort Portal and reach Mweya in Queen Elizabeth NP at midday, with a stunningly beautiful view over Kazinga Channel. Lunch at your lodge and evening safari drive and game viewing. Lunch and Dinner at Bush Lodge or Kasenyi Safari Camp (FB).
Day 8: Morning game drive and Kazinga channel boat trip
Following early breakfast, most of this day will be spent on a safari game drive on the plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park including two hours launch trip on the Kazinga channel where we will see all the animals from the waterside. Lunch and dinner as above. (FB)
Day 9: Morning Game Drive
Start with a morning game drive in Kasenyi, then transfer to ishasha for lunch and a game drive in the afternoon for tree climbing lions and other animals like Topies, Buffalos, Elephants.

Day 10: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Following early breakfast, transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National park. Depending on where your Gorilla permit has allocated, you will either drive to Buhoma for dinner and overnight at Haven Lodge Buhoma or Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge (FB) in the south of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Day 11: Gorilla tracking
After early breakfast 6:30am, you will transfer to the head trail for the gorilla group you will be allocated to for tracking and there you will have your morning briefing by the park rangers before entering the gorilla sanctuary. You will walk through the dense rain forest crisscrossed by numerous animal trails. The thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is one of the most memorable experiences on this safari.
Gorillas are shy and peaceful. Watch and photograph them as they interact and groom one another. Please note: tracking may be fairly strenuous with treks up to six hours or longer, at high altitudes. Also, mountain gorillas are wild animals and, as such, sightings cannot be guaranteed. However, viewing success rates are over 90%.
Day 12: The beautiful Lake Bunyonyi
Following breakfast, we will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi a beautiful place surrounded by the hills of Western Uganda. The road drive takes us through a beautiful landscape called the “Switzerland of Africa”. Lake Bunyonyi is famous for birds, otters and delicious crayfish. The rest of the day at leisure with optional activities have a swim if you wish, try a canoe, or simply relax looking at the over 300 bird’s species. Day 13: Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast we then drive to Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest National park. This small park is excellent for birding, antelope and other grazers, one of the only places to easily see Impala and zebra in Uganda. Game drives offer particularly picturesque game viewing with the Parkʹs mixture of savannah, acacia woodlands, grassy valleys, rocky outcrops, swamps, lakes and rolling hills. Herds of impala (found nowhere else in Uganda), buffalo and zebra, plus waterbuck and eland are amongst the variety of wildlife to be seen. Birders will enjoy the Parkʹs 310 recorded species. This is the only park where we will see Impala and Burchellʹs Zebra. We arrive in the park on time for lunch at Rwakobo Rock. Evening sun downer wildlife drive. Dinner and overnight.

Day 14: Reserved for departure
After breakfast morning nature walk. Return to Entebbe. On the way back a stopover at the Equator for photo photography and curio/ souvenirs shopping and have tea or coffee. We will then bring you back to Entebbe.
Overnight optional
If staying in Entebbe, please request assistance at time of booking safari. If departing Entebbe same night, please note your vehicle returns to Entebbe late afternoon (approximately 4:00 pm) so DO NOT book flights departing prior to 8:00 pm in order to allow time for security, check in and any delays.

Most nationalities require a visa to enter Uganda which can be obtained on arrival for USD50 per person, single entry. Passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months.
