This 12 Days amazing Uganda is a Uganda Gorilla Adventure that will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park situated in south Western Uganda. This ancient Rain forest is one of the few in Africa to have flourished and its home to half of the worlds endangered population of the Mountain Gorillas.
There are many other activities and attractions within this forest apart from the Gorilla tracking Adventure which is the top most activity here. You can enjoy birding, Nature walks, cultural encounters/community walks and Batwa/Pygmy Walk.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Entebbe
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your guide will meet greet and transfer you to your hotel for the night Airport Link Guest House Entebbe (BB) You will also receive a full briefing about your safari and will agree on pick up time the next day.
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison falls park and Rhino Trekking
This Day is for traveling from Entebbe to Murchison falls park the largest conservation area in Uganda. After driving 3hours from Kampala, stop for Rhino Trekking at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. After your lunch, continue your journey reaching Fort Murchison Lodge with a view of the river Nile in the late afternoon. Late afternoon at leisure and swimming is possible in the lodge swimming pool.
Day 3: Murchison falls park
After breakfast at 6:00 am drive into the park for the morning game viewing for 3 to 4 hrs. You will have a chance for the Lions, Leopards, Elephants, antelopes, buffalos, and many other mammals and Birds.
At 2:00 pm you will go for the 3hr boat cruise on the Nile to the bottom of the Falls where the river flow in the 7meter gap dropping into 48meters depth. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Kibale Forest National Park
In the morning, you check out and transfer to Kibale forest. This journey will take you through the beautiful landscapes of Bunyoro-kitara kingdom and the Toro Kingdom. Coffee and Tea plantations are the main economic activities in the area, here you will make stops for photos as you proceed to the primate capital. You will reach early evening at Kibale Forest Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park
Your driver will take you to the starting point to meet your Ranger guide for briefing before you walk into the forest to meet your closest cousins. This walk will take you 3 to 4 hours and drive back to the Lodge for lunch and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth park
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth Park
Game drive after breakfast in the kasenyi plains for kobs,Lions, Elephants, Leopards, buffalos, etc. At 2:00 pm go for the boat ride on kazinga channel for 2hrs, this will be a chance to see Hippopotamus, Elephants, water birds and so much more. Also, you will visit the local salt mining before returning to the lodge for dinner.
Day 7: To Ishasha for tree climbing Lions
Have breakfast drive 2hours to enjojo lodge Ishasha for lunch and game drive in ishasha famous for tree climbing lions. This will give you a chance for tree climbing lions and other wildlife in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth Park. You will have a sundowner at the end of your evening game drive
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi forest
After breakfast drive 3hours to Buhoma for the Batwa experience and also visit the Ride for a woman project before heading to Rushaga Gorilla sector or stay on the North Buhoma. In the evening your driver guide will brief you about the Gorilla Trekking Experience.
Day 9: Bwindi National Park
This Day is for the Gorilla Trekking experience which starts at 7:30 after breakfast join the rest of the group for a briefing from the Ranger about the Dos and Don’ts for successful Gorilla trekking.
This is almost a full-day activity so physically fit is highly recommended.
Day 10: Transfer to Lake Mburo National park
This day is for driving to lake Mburo national park one of the smallest Savannah parks in Uganda.
This area is rich with flora and fauna. Here you will see a lot of zebras,impala, giraffes Buffaloes and so much more in the rate afternoon game drive. You will have sun downer at the end of your evening game drive.
Day 11: Walking safari then to Entebbe
At 6:15 have morning coffee or tea and Go for a morning nature walk.this is beautiful to walk close to zebras and impalas in the company of a ranger.
After the walk drive out to Entebbe with a stop at the equator for photos And also stop for local drum makers on the way.
Day 12: Shoebill Trekking
After breakfast you will have a relaxed morning or you can opt for any activity in Entebbe like SHOEBILL Trekking Botanical gardens or Entebbe tour as you getting ready to catch the flight back home.
Overnight optional
If staying in Entebbe, You can request assistance at the time of your booking. If departing Entebbe same night, please note your vehicle returns to Entebbe late afternoon (approximately 4:00 pm) so DO NOT book flights departing prior to 8:00 pm in order to allow time for security, check in and any delays.

Most nationalities require a visa to enter Uganda which can be obtained on arrival for USD50 per person, single entry. Passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months.
