Gaddafi Mosque:

The Lubiri is the palace for the Kabaka of the Buganda Kingdom. The king has several palaces across the kingdom but this particular one at Mengo is regarded as the main one and houses the “Twekobe” (parliament) plus a number of cultural and historical sites and elements. Shopping at Local Markets:

A visit to the local markets is worthwhile to get an insight into the economic aspects of many Kampala city dwellers. Visit Owino Market (St. Balikuddembe) which is popular for second hand clothes. Nakasero Market is popular for fresh farm produce and electronics. Both markets are located in the center of the central business district.

Ndere Center:

After a busy day exploring Kampala, spend the evening at the Ndere Cultural Center to enjoy cultural dances by the best traditional dance groups in Uganda. Uganda is blessed with diverse people with different cultures including different traditional dances.

Although this day Kampala city tour ends in the evening, a night tour can be arranged with one of our Guides to experience the Kampala nightlife. If you request for a night tour, expect to be taken to the top night clubs, casinos and restaurants. Kampala is known a “city that never sleeps”.
